Kingston, Jamaica, August 30, 2023 (PAHO/WHO) – The International Partners / Government of Jamaica Health Sector Coordination Group (PGHSCG) convened its inaugural meeting at the PAHO Jamaica country office on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. The group comprises numerous United Nations agencies, as well as other multilateral and bilateral partners currently based in Jamaica, all of whom have an active health agenda. The group’s primary purpose is to provide technical and programmatic support to the Government of Jamaica to strengthen the health system and improve Jamaican health outcomes.
